"Jacob and Rachel,
Battle of Twleve Tribes"
Book #2
This is a story -- an historical fiction –
about a young boy in the early years of the 13th Century England and the challenges that fight his dreams.
With unforgettable characters, this story delivers a rare combination or romance and mystery, humor and inspiration.
In the final years of the twelfth century, Prince John seizes control of England
after learning King Richard had been captured in what is now known as Germany.
Many groups who opposed Prince John’s rule and heavy taxes became outlaws.
Among the outlaws, the most famous was
Robin Hood (Sir. Robert of Locksley) and his group of rebels.
Yet, this was not all.
There was a Norwegian boy who was taught from young manhood
the art of war and government. Jacob also opposed Prince John’s illegal invasion
into the neighboring country whom his father had close business ties with.
Jacob William single handedly organized an army which defeated Prince John
and the English army in what became known as "Jacob’s War".
As a result of Jacob’s victory Prince John was forced to agree to the terms of the "Magna Carta”.
Due to Jacob’s esteemed education and knowledge of
language and government the majority of the “Magna Carta” was written by his hand.
Upon the return of King Richard to England, Jacob William was made an ambassador to England.
Jacob later married his childhood sweetheart, Rachel Elizabeth.
Many People believed Rachel had the gift of discernment and foresight
for she was present on the sideline of Jacob’s victorious battlefields.
Jacob later professed the key to his victory was
that as long as he saw her smile he knew that everything would be well.
"Jacob and Rachel, Battle of Twelve Tribes"
is a powerful tale which teaches courage even if you have to stand alone,
the strength to try again and the power of ones ambition to continually grow in strength of character and intellect.
This book is part two of a trilogy.
The adventures and inspiring tales continue onward into the grand finally of the trilogy.
